End fear of the future. Overthrow capitalism.

Class struggle is always, but due to the economic crisis and the Corona pandemic, it is becoming more and more open. The rich are filling their pockets during the crisis, while us wage earners have to deal with low wages, rising rents and further inflation. On 1st May , we as the working class will take the streets to make it clear what is necessary: the fight for socialism!

Join us on the streets this 1st May

In 2021, Germany had the highest inflation rate since 1993 with around 3% annual inflation. Above all, energy prices (fuel, heating, electricity) are rising. In the last rounds of collective bargaining, however, wages rose by an average of only 1.7%. Inflation therefore results in a loss of real wages. From 1991 to 2019, productivity increased by 79.8 percent, while real wages rose by only 12.3 percent. Hence, the wealth generated flows mainly into the pockets of the capitalists. This is class struggle.

And the attacks of the capital are increasing. In the production-related areas, a major transformation is imminent under the keywords “energy transition” and “digitization”. Layoffs and plant closures are already taking place and are being prepared further. At the same time, attempts are being made to massively increase the rate of exploitation. Wages are kept low and work pressure increases. The traffic light coalition agreement opens the door to the softening of the Working Time Act. The maximum daily working time and the principle of the 8-hour day are at stake. In Lower Saxony, the weekly working time for companies in the “critical infrastructure” has been increased to up to 60 hours. Unvaccinated people no longer receive continued payment of wages when they are in quarantine. This regulation is also to be extended to those who are not fully vaccinated. The pandemic is taken here as a reason to attack the achievements of the workers’ movement. In other words, class struggle.

The state shows that it is a state of capital both in the fight against the pandemic and in dealing with the economic crisis. From the very beginning, the top priority was the undisturbed progress of the exploitation machinery. Where necessary, the maintenance of profits was guaranteed with state funds. The burden had to be borne by the wage earners and the small self-employed. No bourgeois government will help us against inflation either. This is particularly evident in the dramatically more expensive energy prices. With measures such as the CO2 tax or emissions trading, the energy transition is to be regulated via the market. This means that we have to bear the price increases, while corporations can continue to make their billions in profits and our livelihoods are destroyed at the same time. The only thing that helps against this is the class struggle!

For a revolutionary perspective

We must take revolutionary positions to the streets, to the trade unions and to the factories. In view of the current developments, this is not only necessary, but also possible! As long as private ownership of the means of production is not touched, one crisis will follow another. In addition to the daily exploitation, the consequences of the crisis are then passed on to our class. Social partnership is a lie, because the reality is: class against class. All achievements were fought and won by the workforce from the base and not by proxy politics. So we organize ourselves and take up the fight.

Join us on the streets on 1st May.. For a revolutionary perspective!
